1. Our Services

At Hund aufs Herz ((Heart to Hound) you’ll find online consultations, personality tests, case histories, personal training sessions, walks, group walks, and group courses.
We provide tips and personal assessments – but we do not guarantee success or specific results.

2. Registration, Payment & Packages

• Registrations are binding.

• All services (online and in person) must be paid before the start of the course or training.

• Packages are valid for 1 year from the date of purchase. After that, they expire.

• As a courtesy, we may extend a package if you pay the price difference to the current rates plus a processing fee of CHF 20. In that case, the package will be valid for another year.

 

3. Credits & Discounts

• Referrals pay off: New customers receive a 5% discount on their first invoice – and you receive the same credit on your next booking (please indicate at registration).

• Credits are valid for 2 years, non-transferable, and cannot be exchanged for cash.

• Credits may only be redeemed for services provided by Hund aufs Herz.

 

4. Participation Requirements

• You are fully responsible for yourself and your dog.

• Your dog must have liability insurance.

• For group courses and walks: Dogs must be healthy, vaccinated (according to legal requirements), and socially compatible.

• For case histories and individual training sessions, participation with a sick or unvaccinated dog is possible if appropriate.

• For online services, you are responsible for being on time and technically available.

• Female dogs in heat are generally excluded from group courses and walks. In justified cases, the course leader may grant an exception for specific training purposes in consultation with other participants.

• We reserve the right to exclude you from a course for safety reasons if your dog cannot be controlled or poses a danger to others. In this case, no refund will be issued.

 

5. Personality Test

• The fairDogs personality test was developed by Claudia Lang. It reveals tendencies and traits of both people and dogs.

• The test helps you understand your dog better, recognize strengths, and explain possible conflicts.

• Copyright belongs to Claudia Lang. Reproduction, distribution, or publication is not permitted.

 

6. Assessments & Observations

• Our case histories, personality tests, and training plans are based on professional experience and created with the utmost care.

• We rely on complete and truthful information from dog owners, as well as on tests being filled out correctly.

• These are situational observations and professional assessments, from which recommendations are derived. We cannot guarantee future behavior or specific training outcomes.

 

7. Cancellations & Rebookings

Individual training:

• Cancellation up to 2 business days in advance: free of charge.

• Later cancellations: full fee will be charged.

Group courses & walks:

• Cancellation up to 14 days in advance: free of charge.

• Cancellation up to 7 days in advance: 50%.

• Later cancellations or no-shows: full fee will be charged.

Rebookings:

• No entitlement. As a courtesy, a rebooking may be possible with a CHF 20 processing fee.

Cancellations by us:

• Courses may be canceled or rescheduled due to low participation or organizational reasons. Fees already paid will be fully refunded. Further claims are excluded.

• We may adjust course content, procedures, or trainers without this entitling participants to withdraw.

 

8. Copyright & Trademark Protection

• All course content, handouts, presentations, documents, website texts, photos, as well as recordings of calls, online training sessions, and video calls are protected by copyright.

• Copying, sharing, or publishing without written consent from fairDogs/Claudia Lang is not permitted.

• Recording video calls or online training sessions without our explicit written approval is prohibited.

 

9. Photos & Videos

• We occasionally take photos or videos of our activities. With your consent, we may use them for self-promotion (website, social media).

• If you withdraw previously given consent for the use of photos or videos, you bear the cost of removing the content. Please note: once published online, content may still remain stored on servers or by third parties and cannot be fully removed from the internet.

• Photos/videos shared in internal groups (e.g., WhatsApp) may not be used or published privately or publicly (e.g., on social media or blogs).

• Participants may only take photos or videos with our explicit permission.

 

10. Duty to Report

As a dog trainer, I am legally obliged under the Animal Welfare Ordinance to report relevant observations (e.g., animal cruelty or dangerous behavior of dogs) to the authorities.

 

11. Waste Disposal

Please dispose of your dog’s waste in the designated Robidog bins during all courses and events – including in public areas.

 

12. Liability

• You are responsible for any damage caused by your dog.

• We are only liable in cases of intent or gross negligence.

• We assume no liability for injuries, damages, or interactions that occur during our services.

• No compensation will be provided for theft, loss, or damage to personal property during courses or events.

 

13. Severability Clause

If any provision of these T&C is or becomes invalid, the validity of the remaining provisions shall not be affected. In such cases, the invalid provision will be replaced by one that comes closest to its intended economic purpose.

 

14. Amendments

We may update the T&C at any time. The current version is always available at hundaufsherz.ch.

 

15. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction

Swiss law applies. Place of jurisdiction: Bottmingen, BL.
