(Hund aufs Herz (Heart to Hound) – explanation once; thereafter “Hund aufs Herz”)
1. Scope
These Terms & Conditions govern the rights and obligations between fairDogs GmbH (Hund aufs Herz) and you as a client or participant. They apply to all services, both online and in person, including consultations, personality tests, case assessments, individual training, group courses, walks and seminars.
2. Registration & Contract
Your registration (online, by phone or in writing) is binding.
A contract is formed once we confirm your booking.
Participation is guaranteed only after payment.
3. Payment, Packages & Credits
All services must be paid before the start.
Packages are valid for 1 year unless otherwise stated, are non-transferable and expire thereafter. Refunds are excluded.
For ongoing group programmes, registration applies to the next 5 group sessions from the date of entry. Dates are communicated on an ongoing basis. By purchasing a 5-session package, your place is reserved for these 5 sessions.
Extensions may be granted upon payment of the price difference plus CHF 20.
Referral credits (5%) are valid for 2 years and non-refundable.
4. Participation Requirements
You are responsible for yourself and your dog.
Your dog must have liability insurance.
Group courses require healthy, vaccinated and socially compatible dogs.
Individual assessments may include sick or unvaccinated dogs if appropriate.
Female dogs in heat are generally excluded unless an exception is agreed.
We may exclude participants for safety reasons without refund.
Responsibility for supervising the dog remains with you at all times.
We reserve the right to decline registrations or recommend a different service if a programme is not suitable for your dog or the group, including after a free introductory assessment.
5. Personality Test
The fairDogs personality test was developed by Claudia Lang.
All questions, structures, scoring systems, typologies and interpretations are protected by copyright.
Reproduction, sharing or external use is prohibited.
Data collected through the personality tests may be used in fully anonymised form for internal statistics and further development of the assessment, without reference to individual people or dogs.
6. Assessments & Observations
Our evaluations are based on professional expertise and your truthful information.
They represent situational assessments and do not guarantee specific outcomes.
Our work does not replace veterinary or therapeutic advice.
7. Cancellations, Refunds & Rebookings
Individual / Personal training: free cancellation up to 2 business days before; otherwise full fee.
When registering for a group course, your place is reserved for the advertised or next 5 class sessions. Missed sessions cannot be refunded or rescheduled.
Group courses, Summer Pass, Adventure Walks and Online Theory Evenings::
• up to 14 days prior → free
• up to 7 days prior → 50%
• later or no-show → full fee
Courses already started cannot be refunded or calculated on a pro-rata basis.
Social Walks and individual group sessions may be cancelled free of charge up to 24 hours before the start. Later cancellations or no-shows will be charged in full.
For time-limited special offers (e.g. Summer Pass), the communicated conditions and redemption periods apply. Unused services expire at the end of the offer period.
Rebookings are not guaranteed. A CHF 20 administration fee may apply. Course changes, rescheduling or transferring payments to other services remain at the discretion of Hund aufs Herz.
For digital products (e.g. personality tests), no refund is possible once use has begun.
If we cancel due to low participation or organisational reasons, fees are refunded in full. If individual services have already been provided, these may be deducted on a pro-rata basis.
8. Copyright & Trademark Protection
All content, materials, documents, videos, photos and test systems are protected by copyright.
Recording or sharing without written permission is prohibited.
9. Photos & Videos
Photos and videos taken during events may be used only with your consent. Withdrawal of consent may incur removal costs.
Please ask the trainer first before taking any photos or videos. Recording is only allowed if all people and their dogs agree.
10. Duty to Report
We are legally obliged to report animal welfare concerns or dangerous behaviour to authorities.
11. Waste Disposal
Dog waste must be disposed of in designated Robidog bins during all events.
12. Liability
You are liable for damage caused by your dog.
We are liable only in cases of intent or gross negligence.
Any damage between dogs is the responsibility of the respective guardians.
Interactions between dogs and resulting risks cannot be completely excluded, even in controlled settings.
We accept no liability for injuries, damages or incidents arising in connection with our services.
No compensation will be provided for theft, loss or damage to personal property during courses or events.
Participation is entirely at your own risk.
13. Severability Clause
If any clause becomes invalid, the remaining clauses remain in effect.
14. Amendments
We may update the T&Cs at any time. The current version is published on the website.
15. Applicable Law & Jurisdiction
Swiss law applies. Jurisdiction: Bottmingen, BL, Switzerland.

Please note: This short overview applies to our own services at Hund aufs Herz (Heart to Hound). For product purchases in the online shop, additional Terms and Conditions apply, which you can view during the order process. In case of discrepancies between the short and detailed version of the T&C, the detailed version shall always prevail. For purchases via partner shops (e.g., Vetevo), the respective provider’s T&C apply.
