Trainer for family dogs & rescue dogs – with personality analysis

Solution-Oriented, Enrichment-Based Dog Training

Dogs learn sustainably when their needs are recognised and met in a way that respects their nature.

Not through pressure.
Not through constant correction.
And not only through treats.

But through true understanding,
clear guidance,
a genuine relationship

and shared joy.

This is how trust grows –
with and without a leash.

Yes, training can be fun ...

Sometimes things are more or less okay.
Your dog behaves. Everyday life works. You’ve found your rhythm and many things become routine.

And that’s exactly when it’s easy to forget
how much dogs truly flourish when they are truly seen.

When they are engaged in ways that suit their nature.
When they receive clear guidance.
When their eyes light up.

Dog training is not just about solving problems.
It’s about relationship. Experience. Growth.

And it should feel good – for both of you.

What does your dog really need?

Is your dog sensitive or independent?

How does your dog learn?

Does your dog get easily excited or bark at other dogs?

The Dog Personality Test helps you understand your dog’s personality better – and build training that truly fits your dog.

Understand your dog instead of just training or guessing.

  • recognise your dog’s personality

  • choose training approaches that fit better

  • especially interesting for mixed breeds or purebred dogs that do not behave in a typical breed-specific way

Every dog has its own personality.

For a deeper understanding of your relationship, a Guardian–Dog Matching analysis is also available.

Training for Rescue Dogs

Training for rescue dogs of all sizes and ages in the Basel Area – helping adopted dogs settle in safely.

Dogs from local or international rescue backgrounds often come with unique experiences and stories. These dogs have shown me how different personalities in dogs can be – and how important it is to adapt training to each individual dog.

Some are insecure. Some feel overwhelmed or distant.
Some appear strong – yet carry a lot within them.

I have been supporting these dogs for many years – with patience, structure, and a clear understanding of their needs.

It’s not about simply “training” them, but about giving them security – so they can truly settle into their new lives.

If you are sharing your life with a rescue dog,
you are especially well supported here.

True connection is not built on control or commands—
it blossoms from

understanding and trust.

About me

I’m Claudia, a dog trainer with a heart for dogs who carry a past.

During my work in Brazil, I rescued and trained street dogs, helping them adjust to a new life with people. Back in Switzerland, I’ve lived with both mixed breeds and purebreds—learning what truly matters: patience, understanding, and trust.

With over 20 years of experience, I guide people and dogs toward a calmer, more connected everyday life.

Every dog can learn to trust—
no matter their past.
